Karen Cinema returns with new album Outside

Following on from last year’s highly acclaimed debut album Into The Moon, Karen Cinema return with a new album entitled Outside.

The album presents an intriguing collection of blissfully gentle and atmospheric songs.

Highlights include Edge Of Night, which takes a sizeable influence from Photek’s seminal masterpiece Solaris and takes it a step further; a delicate arrangement of hypnotic pads, mournful synths and lilting saxophone, which provides a perfect backdrop for Karen’s haunting and distinctive vocals.

Elsewhere, Lost My Way highlights the artist’s ability to write a good quality pop song that would give most of her contemporaries a run for their money…

The closing track Walk Alone oozes with confidence, with Karen’s mesmerising vocals perfectly complimented by a reverberated guitar line that builds to an intense melodic climax.

The album Outside by Karen Cinema is available to buy via itunes and most other online music retailers.
